Assistant Manager — Management Accounting
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and ensure timely consolidation of Monthly Financial Report for the Sime Darby Industrial division as well as review the integrity and accuracy of information contained in the reports
- Assist and coordinate the Divisional annual and Sime Darby Industrial monthly Management Plan exercise to ensure its accuracy and timely completion
- Coordinate the preparation and ensure the timely completion of biannual Caterpillar Dealer Financial Reports (CDBG) for Caterpillar principal
- Maintain the integrity of the CODA Operating system and trouble shoot system problems
Requirements:
- Degree and/or professional qualifications in Accounting and a member of MIA
- 5 years’ working experience in the preparation of a full set of accounts or 5 years’ audit experience; and good knowledge of group consolidation
- Knowledge of CODA Finance system or ERP system will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills across all levels of employees
- Proficient in both written and spoken ENglish and Bahasa Malaysia
Executive – Procurement
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing analysis to support sourcing strategy and annual plan development
- Assist in supplying market intelligence studies (market, vendor, product, commodity, etc.)
- Assist Group Procurement and IT in enhancing sourcing management, spend management and managing deployment of e-procurement tools
- Assist in tender preparation, tender evaluation and tender award
- Extract information and prepare reports for submission to Group Procurement
- Assess vendor performance under Group and Divisional wide contracts
- Assist in Divisional procurement policy roll-out and ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration/Engineering/ Marketing/Finance
- 5 years’ working experience preferably 3 years in procurement or project management
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of procurement systems i.e. Oracle/SAP/CODA will be an added advantage
Executive – Treasury
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily funding operations and trade finance transactions
- Monitor current cash flow and identify needs of bank facilities
- Coordinate and review Group’s cash flow forecast
- Assist in foreign currency forward contract management
- Maintain SunGard Integrity System
- Coordinate insurance coverage requirements, renewals and claims
Requirements:
- Degree and/or professional qualifications in Accounting
- 3 years’ working experience in Treasury related function and familiar with trade finance instruments
- Knowledge of Bank Negara Exchange Control regulations will be an added advantage
- Must be computer literate
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
