Boral Plasterboard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s leading supplier of plasterboard and related products, offering a range of innovative products and systems for commercial and residential ceiling and wall applications. Incorporated in 1985, BPM was the first plasterboard manufacturer in Malaysia and today offers fire-rated, acoustic, impact and moisture resistant partition and ceiling as well as a full range of manufactured boards, ceiling tiles and compound products.
BPM is a subsidiary of Lafarge Boral Gypsum Asia (LBGA) a joint venture between leading international building material companies (France) and Boral (Australia). LBGA is Asia’s largest manufacturer of plasterboard (outside Japan) with production facilities in Malaysia, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and India, with additional distribution branches in Singapore, Philippines and UAE.
In line with our current growth and expansions, we are sourcing for dynamic, resourceful and committed individuals to fill the following positions based in our Subang Jaya, Selangor office.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Key Responsibilities includes:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, cash flow, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Review and implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
- Responsible for product costing system of the company and to ensure that the relevant information available is accurate and reliable and in compliance to all controlling directives and procedures adopted by the Company.
- Review and liaise with tax agent of corporate tax matters.
- Contribute to medium and long term business planning.
- Any other related accounting functions.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in an accounting discipline.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a manufacturing or trading environment
- Highly motivated, and willing to challenge themselves to achieve the personal, professional and the company’s objectives and goals.
- Experience in financial and management accounting system, and integrated ERP system would be added advantage
- People orientated with strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated and proactive.
