Skim Latihan 1 Malaysia - PNS (Graduate Talent Programme)


Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS) is an agency under the Ministry of Domestic Trade Cooperatives and Consumerism, which has been mandated to lead the development of Malaysia’s franchise industry. PNS aims to develop the franchise industry while increasing the number of franchise entrepreneurs through its expertise in providing quality service and products.

PNS plays a role in spearheading the growth of the country’s franchise industry, in order to realize their goal of producing more franchise entrepreneurs in the business world. One of the main objectives of PNS is to develop local products and market them abroad.

On June 01, 2011 the government has initiated 1Malaysia Training Program (SL1M) which was launched by the Prime Minister, in which PNS is one of the GLC’s/agencies participating in this program.

Thus, PNS would like to invite all university graduates who are interested and meet the requirements to join the program under the SL1M PNS Graduate Talent Program.

If successful, candidates will undergo an eight-month program, inclusive two months soft skills development and six months “On the Job Training” in PNS or selected franchise business operations. The program is to familiarize the fresh graduates with the working environment and at the same time to develop their leadership, entrepreneur and soft skills.

Candidates must possess a degree in Business Administration, Banking, Management, Commerce, Accountancy, Marketing or related field. In addition, candidates should be those who have been unemployed for at least 6 months from graduation date. Candidates must also have a minimum of CGPA 2.5 and above.
